Idk what happened.

Well deserved five stars. I'm an old fan of Mary Higgins Clark books, I have read all her books and now waiting for her next book in April. I have never read any of her books that I didn't like, as far as I'm concerned they all deserve five stars. Just keep them coming.

Arrived in good shape and story excellent.
The reader did not have to guess who the villain was this time - just how a seven year old boy would escape from his clutches. I enjoyed this change.
Short read, entertaining & suspense. This family is out looking at the big Christmas tree. Mom is trying to fill some happiness into her boys, their father is in the hospital. This is when a person with a back ground stands up against her fears. It's hard to write a review & not give too much away. And I love Mary Higgins Clark.
It's been quite some time since I'd read a book by Mary Higgins Clark and when I came across this ebook I decided to buy it and I'm glad I did.

I read it in one sitting as I found it hard to put down. The story moved along at a great pace. The characters and plot were believable.

Definitely recommend this book.
In this short novel the magic of Christmas, the power of faith and the comfort of solidarity are the real protagonists.... thank you, Mrs Higgins Clark for giving us a moment of real magic atmosphere in which miracles are possible, prayers are answered and people care for other people... thank you for making us weeping and smiling at the same time and for making us see the world of adults and faith through the eyes of children...
Book arrived in about a week, maybe less. So arrival time was great... I did not have to wait long. Some light wear along top and bottom edges of outside cover. Not horrible though. Inside front and back covers look yellowed as if the book had been sitting around for a number of years. Pages do not look fresh either. Binding looks great though. Overall, I am still happy to have this book since I could not find it online in Mass Market Paperback anywhere else... and I can't wait to start reading it. Happy that I get to add this book to my growing and huge collection of Mary Higgins Clark books !
